With the support of Dr. Coleman (Department Chair), fellow salaries at Stein Eye Institute are at least $92,000 (which includes a $12,000 housing stipend).

Fellows are allotted travel funds for conferences. First year fellows typically attend the Duke Vitrectomy Course and ARVO. Second year fellows attend AAO and ASRS. Additional funds are available for conferences at which fellows are chosen to present.
